When one truly looks at what happened with The Miller, players find that he's actually the saddest boss in the game. ![]() Unlike other bosses, who are portrayed as The Ancestor's failed experiments, brigands or monsters, this boss was simply a man who trusted the wrong person. In a tale taken literally from Lovecraft, The Miller plays his part in Darkest Dungeon's second big DLC, The Color of Madness, by losing everything he cared for. ![]()
